How long does it take to set up a new Enrollee? Enrollment is a quick and easy process. It takes under 10 minutes to enter the data for enrollment and record a voice print. To avoid lengthy enrollment you should have all of the information required: phone features removed, enrollment agreement completed, signed and faxed, payment and court documentation with court and/or supervising agent's contact information. How does ShadowTrack capture the voice print? ShadowTrack®can record the enrollee's voice print from any location with a land line telephone. The voice print takes approximately 90 seconds to complete. The enrollee will be asked to repeat various phrases until a valid sample is generated. Where can the voice print be taken? The voice print can be obtained from any land line telephone including the probation office, jail, enrollee's home, etc. ShadowTrack® encourages a voice print from the monitoring location but this can be performed as a secondary step to the initial recording if the voice print is not adequate at the time of enrollment. This is a simple process that takes about one minute to complete. What type of programs use ShadowTrack? ShadowTrack® has been used in the following programs:
In what jurisdictions has ShadowTrack been approved? ShadowTrack® has been approved in different counties nation-wide, including local, state, and federal agencies. Please contact our office for more information about agencies that are using ShadowTrack® in or near your jurisdiction. Can ShadowTrack detect if an enrollee is intoxicated? An enrollee will fail his/her verification if his/her speech pattern is altered. Therefore suspicion of intoxication is detected due to slurring and unusual speech patterns. ShadowTrack® cannot detect the level of alcohol consumed as with a breathalyzer. Is ShadowTrack available through local or regional providers? You can contact our office to find a local dealer for your area. If you are interested in becoming a dealer, visit our dealer section on this website. NOTE: Offenders being monitored on the program are not eligible to become a dealer. What happens if the individual fails to check-in? If an offender fails to check in at the scheduled time from an authorized location the court and/or supervising agent will receive an automatic notification of the violation. Can individuals work? Schedules are determined by the judge, supervising agent, probation officer, etc. In most cases, enrollee's can maintain employment, attend religious services, school, and participate in treatment meetings and medical appointments. ShadowTrack® scheduling is very accommodating from the most stringent to the most lenient schedules. What happens if an enrollee calls from an unauthorized location? One of the benefits of ShadowTrack® is its ability to track and log all numbers into its database. If an enrollee calls from an unauthorized number, ShadowTrack® will allow a voice verification to determine that it is the enrollee; the tracking report will record the information and send a non-compliance notification to the court and/or supervising agent. What type of phone service does the enrollee need? A land line telephone with basic touch-tone service and call waiting are all that is required for the ShadowTrack® program. Vonage and other Voice Over IP telephone services are not allowed at this time. Other restricted features include call-forwarding, call-conferencing, and anonymous call blocker/privacy director.
